A funkció is kicsit más, mint az előző években: az étterem/büfé és szabadtéri színpad mellett idén pingpongasztaloknak is helyt ad a pavilon. Nouvel a vörös színt a zöld park ellenpontjaként és egyben a londoni postaládák, telefonfülkék és emeletes buszok idézeteként határozza meg, míg sokan Tschumi Parc La Vilette-jének epigonját látják benne. A hatalmas acéltartók könnyűszerkezeteket, ponyvákat tartanak, így lehetnek ennyire nagy fesztávúak. A pavilon október 17-éig (ingyen) látogatható.
